Spacious, bright cafe and friendly staff. Lovely decaf latte (nice and mild). Halloumi flatbread was tasty. Sticky toffee pudding was very nice. Nice shop too selling gifts, cards, clothes, shoes and perfumes. Large car park. No problem getting a table mid week afternoon.
Took my mum for a Mother’s Day lunch and it was excellent. Food was beautiful and the service brilliant . Great vegetarian options
Always such a lovely experience eating here, had the eggy bread this time, so delicious I had lunch today, fish and triple cooked chips with tarter sauce and mushy peas, the batter was light and the fish was cooked to perfection, delicious!

From the moment we arrived, she made us feel genuinely welcome, greeting us with a warm smile and a friendly attitude that instantly put us at ease. Throughout our visit, Annalise was attentive without being intrusive, always checking in at just the right moments to ensure we had everything we needed. She offered excellent recommendations, demonstrating a real knowledge of the menu, and went out of her way to accommodate any special requests. It’s rare to find someone who balances efficiency with such a personal touch, but Annalise does it effortlessly. Not only was the service outstanding, but she also created such a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made the entire experience even more enjoyable. First visit to The Paddock and very impressed. Staff were helpful and attentive. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and cooked to my liking. Sausages were the best I've had in a long time! Latte coffee was very good, too! Will definitely be returning for another visit.
Just had a superb lunch ,beat all expectations , food was freshly prepared , staff v friendly and efficient ,waiting time for food was minimal 2018 , called in for a quick shop and decided to have lunch , again the food was outstanding , staff still v friendly , food arrived within 10 minutes of ordering a def thumbs up 2019 again called in for a quick shop and decided to have lunch , ordered Beetroot and Goats Cheese Salad with Sweet Potato Fries on the side , generous portion of fries ,friend ordered Fish and chips , chips triple cooked , minimal waiting for both meals and again very enjoyable, staff have always been pleasant and helpful whenever we have had meals and are a credit to the establishment
